World War II Bonus	Monetary payment for service between September 16, 1940 and Sept 3, 1945
Korea, Vietnam, Gulf war Bonus	Monetary payment for service between June 27,1950 and July 27, 1953 or between January 1, 1961 and March 28, 1973 or between April 29.1975 and April 30, 1975 or between August 2,1990 and Nov.30, 1995
Burial Benefits	$100 for the setting of a veteran grave marker
Grave Registration	Every veteran buried in the state of Illinois has his/her grave registered with the state.
Illinois Veterans Grant	education benefit for Illinois Veterans
Hiring preference	preference points for veterans
